Students enrolled in the MD Program at Wake Forest School of Medicine (WFSM) are led by Dean Edward Abraham and taught by nearly 1,100 full-time faculty members and 550 part-time teachers. Each July, 120 students are enrolled in the first year class. The MD Program’s spirit of excellence is shared by the WFSM Physician Assistant (PA) Programand programs offered at the Wake Forest University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

The PA Program at Wake Forest School of Medicine is a graduate level program with a unique history of curricular innovation.  Graduates of the PA Program complete a 24-month course of study and are awarded the Master of Medical Science (MMS) degree.  One class of 64 students is enrolled in early June each year.
